La Fresque Hotel - Buenos Aires

La Fresque Hotel is a charming vintage gem, with decor that feels like stepping back in time. The location is unbeatable, situated right near the famous 9 de Julio boulevard and close to attractions like Plaza de Mayo. The two-level room I stayed in was comfortable and well-maintained, with modern accents that complemented the classic architecture. Plus, the rainfall showerhead in the bathroom was a good touch!

The bed could have been more comfortable.

What a disappointment! The hairdryer is oddly loud yet woefully ineffective, and the towels? Ripped, clearly vintage but not in a charming way. I expected at least a complimentary upgrade, considering my perfect taste, but alas, no. I almost left a glowing review, but the dismal experience woudl ve been unforgivable in itself.

Fairly clean, good value hotel, the location was unbeatable and excellent next to a central area, near Obelisk, Tortoni's Cafe, Plaza de Mayo, Florida, San Telmo and other Buenos Aires spots, the city center and the supermarket. I liked sleeping 2 nights in this venue...

It offers amazing, particularly good location. It's next to an underground station which was what I needed.

Staying at La Fresque was nice, especially the stunning antique decor throughout the hotel and the delectable breakfast, which featured good Argentine pastries and fresh fruit.

Brand-new room, fairly clean bathroom with a bidet. Handy and perfect location just next door to a famous street.

Overall - well-maintained place with affable staff during your reservation. Very central location, relatively close to an art museum. A lot of food options within easy walking distance of the venue.

Noise from the busy corner can be bothersome late into the night, so earplugs might be necessary. Maintenance issues became apparent, like pipes making disturbing sounds, and some guests described unsettling experiences with room cleanliness. Some rooms featured worn furnishings and comfort.

Unfortunately, my experience was marred by several issues. The cleaning staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism. They rummaged through my belongings without permission and seemed to disregard my privacy completely. The noise from the pipes was unbearable at night, leading to restless sleep. Lastly, the condition of some amenities, such as the towels and overall maintenance, were below what one would expect from a hotel of this caliber.

We enjoyed the charming vintage decor. The location was perfect, great to easily explore major attractions like the famous boulevard and nearby plazas. The room was well-maintained and comfortable, with a good rainfall showerhead that added a touch of luxury to our experience.

The bathroom space was quite limited, making it difficult to store our personal items.

Just a decent option for a weekend vacation in Buenos Aires with good value for price. The vintage decor in the lobby was really charming and added a unique touch to my stay. Be prepared for limited breakfast options.

Great location, just a 10-minute walk from the bus station! 🚶‍♂️ the spot was absolutely perfect and stunning.
